Will I Ever Learn? (& Winners?)

in 30 Tiny Moments, Family, General

I couldn’t just stop with pancakes and bacon. I had to keep going and going and going.

This is the reason, I shouldn’t take up new hobbies!

Just look at this mess!
I've lost my mind

I just don’t do things 1/2 measure. I go overboard … but, just a tad (HA).

We now have:

Felt Cookies
Cookies

Felt Cupcake
Cupcake

Felt Pizza
Pizza

Felt Carrots
Carrots

Felt Strawberry
Strawberry

Felt PB&J
Two slices of bread with PB&J.

Felt Burger and Fixin's
Cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato

There is a whole load of pasta but I forgot to take a picture.

I am done, I think …

Well, I might do some eggs! Note to self –> buy white felt.

Holy Crap … I might need ‘Felt Food Anonymous’!

Oh, you want me to ‘shut up’ about the felt food and tell you the who won the Peanut Shell contest?

SORRY, after sewing all of that food without stopping to eat … I was VERY hungry. I had two choices, go out for supper with Mr. MK or count contest entries and declare the winners.

Steak & Lobster Dinner

Lobster won!

Tomorrow for sure ! I might even have a new contest ready for you!

MK xo

Oh my! That cupcake and the carrots are some of the best I have seen! So, I have to ask – while you were at dinner that evening did you suddenly look at everything differently and wonder about how to make it with felt. Hmmmm, felt lobster, felt baked potato, felt steak…

I love the felt food. Are those last creations from a pattern or are they from your own imagination? They are so beautiful.

As for counting entries versus eating lobster–that’s no competition. Lobster should win! Hope you had a good time out.

Hey..I have not fallen off the earth – I am here..but if you keep posting pics of that felt food and J keeps sitting here looking at it with me.. I will NEVER have time to get on here.. I am SO busy – haven’t even had time to put up my 30tinymoments – not like me at all!! Jewelry order to fill like crazy, new store, this time for kids jewelry – so getting that stuff made up, doctor’s appts, and dh had to work even Sunday til midday this past weekend – UGH!! and now, I can add felt food to my list :) OH..and I decided to do my blog more towards other recruiter’s wives – believe it or not, most that I meet are horrible towards their husbands regarding their career when they are just doing their job & with the support of their family might do it a bit better.. So, trying to get that started to put up.. Have fun!! Thanks for noticing me missing.. :) *I miss my computer life:(*..but I will be back!

I am hoping that you decide to sell any of the non-copyrighted food you’ve created. Although I’m crafty (in a sincerly cross-stich and wool kinda way) I do not sew. My last sewing attempt came in the form of heming some jeans…2 hours later it looked like I’d just hem the jeans for a person with two dramatically different length legs. That or else I was going to start the half pant half capri fashion movement.

Anyways, if you start selling them. I will purchase – I love the cookies!

Wow, what great food! So, did you just whip those up out of your own imagination? GREAT job! Maybe you should start selling in on Baby Marketplace!!

25 MommyKnows February 18, 2008 at 10:27

@ Ashley S & Deanne S – you would be disappointed if you bought these … my stitching is messy. Ashley S this is all just doing neat little stiches so if you can do cross stitch … you can do this.

I made up all of it except:

the strawberry (1/2 circle sewn up – not really copyrightable),
pancakes (four circles sewn together)
the pizza (her pattern is actually pretty neat).

The rest is from looking at pictures and then thinking up my own methods.

If I can do this ANYBODY can!
