We’re all in a panic. Well everybody but Sam that is.

i love to see this
He’s as cool as a cucumber. Relaxed, laid back even, and getting nothing done in a hurry! ‘Nothing’ being the operative word.

We’re off on a BIG ‘ole holiday tomorrow. The kids have a whole week off for the new (and much appreciated) November break. I’m not excited yet, I have way too much left to do. Is there anybody besides me who hates to leave the house a mess when you head out on holiday? In a perfect world, I’d like to vacuum my way out of the house. Don’t hate me, it won’t happen. It’s bad enough for the holiday to end, but to have to come home to a messy house too, UGH … horrible!

I’m making lists (like the lovely Angella) and ticking stuff off as I go. They’re long, long, long lists. I feel like I am making very little headway.

Silly me! I signed up for NaBloPoMo (Mr. MK not impressed –> blogging when I should be packing). I guess that means you’re all coming along on the holiday too! I’ll give you a hint to the location tomorrow.

OH and the drugs, what a pain in the ass (no pun intended)! Obviously, they have to come as well. In a cooler and I need a mini bio-hazards container, syringes, alcohol swabs and bandages. BLECK that means the side-effects will be there too.

Enough whining already –> I LOVE ME A ROAD TRIP!

All comments and back-links for this post will be entered to win a $10 Starbucks Gift Card (includes shipping and handling) in my ‘Have a Coffee on Me’ Contest. If you comment and blog about the contest you’ll receive two entries (too easy). I have a whole ‘schwack’ of Gift Cards to give away, so make sure and come back often for a chance to ‘have a coffee on me’.

MK xo

I don’t like a dirty house left behind but my husband can not go unless the house is spotless, at least he cleans it :)

I would love to vacuum myself out before leaving on vacation! With two under two, I rarely have time to put away the piles of laundry that have inevitably been done in order to have something to pack!

Have fun on your trip! :)

Be glad you aren’t taking baby gear too. Sometimes I question if a trip is really worth it with all the stuff I have to take along.

Nope, you’re not the only one who likes to leave the house clean when you’re gone on a holiday! I always TRY to do that too…though it never quite happens. Oh well…hope you have an awesome trip!!

Yes, I love a clean house when I come home from the infrequent trips that we take. I don’t even like to wake up to dirty dishes! My older sister is a diabetic and when she travels, she has to take a lot of stuff with her, also!
My brother was a juvenile diabetic. I hope if you have any side effects, they are minimal. Have a wonderful and safe road trip…..Cindi

Getting ready for a holiday is always way too stressful–but we do it because it is so much FUN right? Enjoy your holiday and forget about the vacuuming, a little dirt on the floor shouldn’t matter too much.
