Ummm, Lizzy are you wondering why your brother out scores you in backyard soccer?

Soccer Blues
It just might be your choice of shoes babe!

***
JenB wins a prize for her Rocktober Baby! (Marketplace) name … email me JenB.

I haven’t decided on the contest format yet; I think I might just do ALL kinds of things. If and when I use one of your ideas, I’ll send a prize your way.

So keep the ideas coming … I am away over the next couple of days @ a buying show again for www.thebabymarketplace.com. I need more stock like a hole in the head … oh, well –> can’t make any money unless you spend some! (I freaking hope that’s true).

Speaking of shoes – I love the ones on your site!! Got them today and can’t wait for my baby’s feet to stretch and fit them! Looking forward to October fun.

2 Heather October 9, 2007 at 18:10

That is too funny! Can she even WALK in those?

3 Susy-Q October 9, 2007 at 18:19

Swanky spikes…

5 PamW October 9, 2007 at 18:41

She sure colour coordinated her shoes with her dress/skirt/shorts (hard to tell) that she’s wearing!

6 Michelle October 9, 2007 at 18:41

Those are some wild shoes. I have never been able to walk in those things!! Wish I could but my feet get sore just looking at them!

7 Amanda October 9, 2007 at 19:11

What a great picture! I am not coordinated enough to play soccer OR wear high heels – let alone both!

8 Deb October 9, 2007 at 19:53

Wow, those are some skinny heels! I cannot wear shoes like that…let alone on grass! Ha! and they almost fit her too!

9 Deb October 9, 2007 at 19:55

Just thought of something…imagine the shins of her brother! hope he’s got pads….or ouch!

10 Andrea October 9, 2007 at 20:22

hahaha…that is TOO funny! :) They could be used for some pretty good defense or tackles or something though…

11 Jenn October 9, 2007 at 21:14

Impressive – even being able to stand in them!

12 Deanne S. October 9, 2007 at 21:36

Great name! Look forward to the contest details…

13 Happy Geek October 9, 2007 at 21:51

So, ideas for the contest, how about some posts being about a specific issue (breast cancer awareness, global warming, breastfeeding, how to get tomato stains out of your kids socks, etc.) and to enter you either have to provide a comment about the issue or a link to site or blog that covers the issue?

24 Jenny M October 10, 2007 at 14:09

“Looks like shes ready to join the cast of one of my favorite shows- Sex and the city with her fashion forward shoes and matching skirt.=)

25 lace October 10, 2007 at 15:06

I stay away from shoes like that.

Like the Rocktober Baby!

26 Diane October 10, 2007 at 16:17

Cool picture it looks great with the shoes matching the ball!! Thats style!! Maybe you could do like a search for info regarding specific items on your website… like you ask a question that can be answered by looking up specific items at the babymarketplace… then whomever answers correctly gets entered into a draw??? Sounds like a lot of work but its the only idea I can come up with!!

27 Tracy October 10, 2007 at 16:20

Love the picture. Thanks for the sweater that I won last month, I just received it today and I can’t wait for my 2 year old to wear it.

28 Gayle October 10, 2007 at 16:52

What a great picture. You are soooo cute Lizzy, and I think you have your mom’s long, narrow feet that look good in heels.

29 Jamie October 10, 2007 at 20:32

We call those ankle breakers in our house.

30 Tasha October 10, 2007 at 22:39

Love the shoes, she does better than I do in heels!

31 Mary C October 11, 2007 at 05:32

That is so cute! What a great picture.

32 Kelly October 11, 2007 at 06:47

Those shoes are a hoot! :-)
I can’t come up with any good ideas for the contest at the moment… I’ll have to think about it.

33 PamW October 11, 2007 at 09:25

What about a contest to find the neatest new product for your store? Something that you don’t already carry that would be really great to carry?

34 Susy-Q October 11, 2007 at 11:27

I just got my bical grippers in the mail! I love them. Just had to share!

35 Joa October 11, 2007 at 14:03

Héhé! Oui, chère coquette, ça prend les bonnes chaussures!

36 Kilikina October 11, 2007 at 17:40
