Just One Emergency After the Other.

Sorry peeps, we’ve had a rough week.

I’ve been x-rayed mri’d, jabbed, poked, prodded and parted with all kinds of fluids.

I’ve had several more ‘episodes’ where I loose feeling and the use of one or both of my arms (not fun). It comes with the most unbearable feeling … not pain but just as unwanted.

Will and I spent 13 hours in the ER over the weekend … tiring … boring … worrisome.

Lizzy scared us this evening by getting a BIG HONKIN’piece of wood stuck in her leg. There were no tears …

The Doc says, “she’s the toughest kid I’ve ever seen”. I agree :)

Oh … you wanna see?

Leg Pain

She also wanted me to take a picture from the top too, because you can see some blood. HAHA

Leg Wound

Talk to you soon!

Far out!! Lizzy is amazing! I almost felt pain just looking at the photos. Yikes!

I hope you are okay, Kim. I hope the tests will show what’s wrong and how to fix it. Thinking of you, xox

Hello, I have been concerned about you since reading about your paralysis. I have checked your site a few times a day to see if you had written. I hope they figure what is causing your problem and help you very soon. I don’t know I your daughter didn’t cry. I got chills just looking at her pictures. I am sending positive thoughts and prayers your way. Cindi

OWIE! That must have hurt like an SOB! I know I would have cried over that…Lizzie’s so brave and tough! I want to say “How did he manage to do it in the first place?” but I would guess she was on top of a fence or playground structure—the one behind the Catholic school across the street from our school is the worst one for that.

I hope you get some answers soon!

You got a really tough kid. I dont know how you managed to get that photographed. Had i been your child i this case you would have to start running and pampering me. The doc was true, your child is really tough.
