I, however, don't think it's a big deal. My daughter recently got her ears pierced after 2 years of begging. Why is it OK for her and not them? When they want to experiment with their looks/clothes/hair who am I to say no? I think letting them try things (within reason... say no to crack cocaine!) is healthy and a good way for them to discover who they are. If their grades are good, and they are nice kids, am I going to care about purple hair and an extra hole in the ear?
