It’s Been Nuts, to Chicago and Back

It’s been nuts this week in Mommyknowsville. Along with our usual, super busy schedule, I was lucky enough fly to Chicago to visit the Kraft Kitchens. I’ve got a great post in the works all about the trip. It was fabulous.

Mr. MK and I passed each other briefly in the hallway Friday morning. I’d just arrived home from the Kraft tour and he was headed out on a rock climbing holiday. Well, it was more than a passing (but barely), he had just enough time to rustle through my suitcase and steal my ‘Back to Nature’ Nuts!

kraft goes back to nature --> nuts!
*Edit: this is not Mr. MK. It’s my good friend Scott.

I call this one: Kraft took Mommyknows to Chicago and gave her some ‘Back to Nature’ nuts. Mommyknows took the Kraft nuts to the Canadian Rockies and took them back to nature.

See you soon!

MK xo

Wow, perfect timing for him and the nuts. Did you make it a stipulation that you’d provide the nuts on the condition that he snapped a picture of him eating them?

Sounds like a fun trip. Looking forward to hearing all about it. That is one heck of a beautiful landscape. I think it would be pretty cool to live close to mountains. I don’t rock climb, but looking would be fun.

Gosh, I had better not let my hubby see this post, because he will be insanely jealous! Rock climbing, gorgeous scenery, snow-capped mountains (and presumably snowboarding??) … he’d be in heaven!
That’s a great photo of Mr MK with your nuts. I’m curious to hear more about the Kraft event you went to!

Thanks for the comment on my blog just before. I guess your questions were the ones that really got me thinking, and gave me inspiration for whole posts. I must make sure I answer some of the other ones next though! Like “what’s in your fridge?” … I have been putting that one off as it badly needs a clean!! ROFL!

Oh…my…gosh, but the view is making my eyes burn. How come green and blue don’t ever look that, you know, green and blue, here in Jersey? Don’t answer that. I’d love to visit you, sometime. [hint-hint] Minus the rock climbing, of course :)

Wow, I’ve been buying kraft for over 11 years, and its was so interesting to see what does on in their location. Looks like a well run operation.

Nice post. The Canadian Rockies look awesome! I have always wanted to do rock climbing in the rockies but have never had the chance.

Seeing this though makes me think I should just do it. Stop thinking about it and just do it. Simple as that.

For now though I will have to just stick to the rock climbing center in my home town :)

Another amazing photo!! I am always so shocked to see such photos coming from an “amateur”. Are you sure you’re not a pro?? Haha. Amazing scenery. Did your friend enjoy the nuts?
