I’m so enjoying a touch of Indian summer (is that politically correct? If not I meant ‘First Nations summer’). I guess, I should just say I am enjoying the warm weather, but it doesn’t sound as good. Indian summer means a BONUS … EXTRA summer in fall. Environment Canada says it’s 27c (81f) today. Fabulous!

Lovin' me some Indian Summer
This is in the park in the center of town. It’s lovely … warm … sunny. I love fall.

I’m trying to get a few more closets cleaned … the loot for goodwill just keeps on growing. I have a few more fabulous eBay auctions almost ready to go (THE WORK) as well.

What are you up to?

I’ll be back …

All comments and back-links for this post will be entered to win a $10 Starbucks Gift Card (includes shipping and handling) in my ‘Have a Coffee on Me’ Contest. If you comment and blog about the contest you’ll receive two entries (too easy). I have a whole ‘schwack’ of Gift Cards to give away, so make sure and come back often for a chance to ‘have a coffee on me’.

Indian summer??? No way, I’m all about the cooler weather. Anything under 95 degrees makes me perfectly happy.

It has been 80*+ here, but we had a rain on Monday and now the highs are upper 60′s to the low 70′s! I love the fall season. Thanks, Cindi

I am 31 weeks pregnant and I think I am starting to nest a little. I am getting the baby’s room ready. As my Australian brother-in-law asked me recently, “You feelin’ clucky yet?” Yes, I think I am starting to feel clucky!

I’m lovin’ the weather, too. You’ll never hear me complain about warm weather! The only complaint I have, I put all of the kids summer clothes away, already……. and I’ve had to dig them back out, again. ;) Oh well, worse things could happen!
I’ll have to keep my eye on ebay for your auctions.

Well, today it’s going to be 80, love, love, love it. I wish it was summer all year round with some rain at night (the plants need some water). I’m just a more happy, cheerful person when the sun is out. I love your picture, very nice!
Thanks, Ann

Its been surprisingly hot up in Prince Rupert… my girls have actually asked to go back to the cold a couple of times now… lol… seems rather skewed as Vancouver is usually the hot one!

It might not be Indian Summer here any more, but the fall looks to be here now. The air has a chill that’s for sure.

What a great picture! I can’t wait for the leaves to start changing colours! Fall is such a great season – lovely smells from the crisp evenings (and that “fiery” smell!), pumpkins, spices, and enjoying warm teas/hot chocolate/apple cider when one gets in from the cold… I think I’ll go put on the kettle now! :)

Enjoy your day, and good luck with the closet cleaning – I’m sure someone will appreciate the items that you donated to Goodwill!

Take care,
Ashley

Lucky you! We had to turn the heat on this morning just to get the frost out of the house. It’s cold here.

I do love fall. I just wish it didn’t get so cold so fast. Indian summers are great.

Isn’t it amazing! I took some great pictures of my kids outside in the leaves over the past few days, and didn’t have to worry about little red noses in the pictures!!!

Ikes – I came across your post today -Oct 4th- and it’s no longer warm and sunny…there’s nip in the air. Getting about time for comfort food like stews and warm me up things like blankies!

that photo is amazing, brings back memories when we used to spend summer over at my cousins farm… we’d go fishing in the morning and eat our catch for lunch, then serve it with fresh tomatoes… mmmm
