If you find yourself in the hot seat, consider yourself lucky … you could be here (in my front yard)!

30 Tiny Moments

30 Tiny Moments - Day 18

I feel it’s necessary to point out that it is actually quite warm here today (above freezing). I don’t want Mother Nature to punish me for dissing the weather! It could be 40 below.

The kids are off school today, we’re being lazy. I am thinking about making felt play food for Georgia. Too bad I can’t sew (buttons yes, creations NO). I’ll keep thinking about it.

Those felt foods make me want to try and make some. I don’t have a machine and really hand sewing gets boring fast, as you can see in this post I was doing that last weekend :) http://sillymommy2sillygirls.blogspot.com/2008/02/my-weekend.html

Oh my goodness – I am assuming that chair has legs? So, how deep is there? I love when it starts to warm up, but hate the muck that comes when all that snow starts to melt. Yuck!

That is SUCH a cool idea. Although I am an awful seamstress (or whatever) too, I am going to definitely think about trying this out!

Great pic! Looks a bit like my front yard. There are two patio chairs “somewhere” on my lawn. The snow is so deep that my rottweiler has to hop like a bunny through the snow – LOL! Only 6 more weeks of winter, enjoy as soon we’ll be knee deep in mud!

All our snow melted off in a huge pre-spring meltdown last week. THe weather has turned colder again but now snow in sight. Great photo!

I miss snow. We’ve had one, maybe 2 storms this year that just coated the ground. One of the ‘joys’ of living in the south I guess.

Looks like our front yard=)minus the chair. Hope you have a great snow blower= thats what we decided will be our valentines gift this year to replace the 27 year old antique we got from DH’s aunt 4 years ago when we moved into our first house.

Almost all our snow if gone, which is too bad since now I can see all the dog poop in the backyard that I need to clean up. UGGG! I should do that now but I want it to get below freezing before I tackle that yucky job.

If you do make the food, make sure to let us know how you did it. I adore how cute this food is. I should try it. I got a sewing machine for Christmas and haven’t used it much yet.

Lots of snow here but it is supposed to rain on Sun. and then it will all be gone. I’d rather see snow then muddy brown.

We have no snow… just rain rain and more rain! Hopefully there’s not too much mess when all that snow melts!

Those felt foods are adorable but I don’t think I’m energetic enough at this point in time to actually sit down and make them. Great idea, though!

Did you make the chair? I’m with you on the craft projects. I want to but my abilities are slightly embarrassing. My husband actually does the sewing in our house.
