30 Tiny Moments – Day 16

I Want this Job!
My sitter and Georgia curled up on the couch!

Somedays, I long to be a ‘couch potato’ with my kids. I know it won’t happen any time soon. Even if it did … I have the tendancy to be more of ‘mouse potato’. How about you?
***
Note: Just in case you’re wondering, it doesn’t bother me that I had to wake the sitter up to take this picture. Georgia cheers when she arrives, she cleans when I ask her, she is kind and unlike the last one … she doesn’t steal from me.

There’s something so special about the bond between a little one a great sitter. It’s been a very, very long time since I needed a sitter and we still keep in close touch. Your Georgia is a lucky girl

I’m a definite couch potato. My baby doesn’t care to join me. She usually just runs circles around where I’m sitting.

um…mouse potato?

Glad the sitter is working for you–good ones are hard to find! I can’t believe the last one stole from you. Well, I guess nothing surprises me these days. Maybe Georgia played so hard with her that she was exhausted!

That is an adorable picture. I was just showing my teens pictures of them with their favorite sitter. They do not remember her but I have fond memories of all she did to make sure they had fun.

I dread having to look for a sitter. It sounds like it is quite the process to find one that both you trust AND the kids like. Glad to hear it sounds like you have arrived at that point. Happy V-day! Hope the kids had funny handing out their ultra cute Valentines.

We’ve only had Tate babysat once – by another mommy friend, so I’ve not got much experience with sitters. :) I like to steal the couch potatoe moments for myself. ;)

Right now I’d say I’m more of a potty potato… lol. I have one that’s finishing up potty training, and one that’s just starting (who by the way wants to sit on the potty every 15 minutes but never goes)… and so I spend what feels like my entire day sitting in front of the potty.

I am not a big tv watcher, so between couch and mouse potato I’m definitely a mouse potato.
