Growing Wider Thanks to Cake Pops (Cupcake Style)

Yesterday, I made cupcake pops. Thanks to Bakerella and her fabulously delicious and easy recipe.

MMMM ….

cupcake pops

cakepops

They turned out pretty good, very pretty and pink. Georgia and I also made some ‘dalmatian pops’. I’ll have to remember to get a photo of those, before we eat them all.

With ‘birthday season‘ nearly upon us, I have all kinds of great plans for customizing pops for all the birthday madness.

Today, I’m resting. Well, resting and eating (and growing wider).

Mmmmm…I’ve been drooling over these all week at PW’s, now they’re here, too …it’s a cake pop conspiracy!

You can find out more about the camera here:
http://us.leica-camera.com/photography/compact_cameras/d-lux_4/

It’s the most versatile compact camera that I’ve ever seen, has a super-wide aperture, almost no shutter delay, and a larger-than-normal sensor, plus it takes HD video. I love my D40 to pieces still, and it definitely is better in some situations, but the D-Lux will go places the D40 can’t and give me the video option. I’m in love! =)

Holy Cow – Bakerella is GOOOOOOOD!!! Thanks for that link! Although, after two pages; which would normally have me running to the store..but today I have one child poopin’ and one pukin’, so it kinda turns my stomach; I still can’t find how you do the circle of cake in those pops… Are yours mini muffins? I saw some hello kitty ones – how does she cook the cake that little – in what? I know she is not using a cookie cutter.. HELP!?! Can you link me to the directions page or something… or shoot me how you did it? GOOD JOB!!!!!!

Those look delicious, and I like the idea of smaller portions with the mini cupcake. It will be much easier to control the amount my young daughter eats!

I love these cake pops. They are really cute. I am thinking of baking these cake pops for my daughter’s birthday as part of the decoration! Putting them everywhere around the house. It should look nice! My party theme is cupcake anyway! :)
