Anthropologie Giveaway

Winner: Laura V. (please email me: kim (@) mommyknows (dot) com with your address and I’ll have these sent to you).

Last week while shopping in Soho, I found these great Izmir Measuring Cups in Anthropologie.

izmir measuring cups

I loved them! I really wanted them sitting on my counter-top. I just knew I’d bake more if I owned these, and I was pretty sure everything would taste better too.

Unfortunately, I actually went to NYC with just a carry-on sized suitcase. DUH! Needless to say, there was NO ROOM for anything extra, let alone something breakable that would need extra padding.

So … I am going to order them online, and I thought I’d order one of you a set too! ‘Cause I’m nice like that.

Two ways to win:

1. Comment on any post until Friday, October 9th, 2009
2. Twitter about this and use hashtag #mommyknows (no need to comment your tweet, if you use the hashtag #mommyknows, I’ll count it).

The contest will close late Friday evening, I will then gather all the entries, randomly draw a winner and post sometime on Sunday, October 11th, 2009.

Good luck!

Those are beautiful! What a neat find. Just wanted to comment please don’t enter me in the contest. As pretty as they are I wouldn’t use them and it’s a shame to keep them from someone who would :).

So totally count me in on these. My husband is from Turkey, and these remind me so much of some of the goodies and designs I saw while visiting Istanbul. Yummy colors. Thanks for buying an extra set for one of us :)

Love,
Jodi

Ooh, I could use some of those pretties! I nearly fainted with the beauty of the Anthropologie store in Rockefeller Center and was so overwhelmed that I couldn’t narrow my choices down…

I can’t believe you went with only a carry on!! Was that on purpose? I’m thinking NY, don’t come with anything but essentials, but still bring 2 suitcases, haha. I think I would have left behind something to bring these amazing measuring cups home. They are absolutely gorgeous! It’s nice that something so ordinary can be so extraordinary. (I just love the store’s apron’s too!)

SO PRETTY.

I’ve never been to Anthropologie, but I LIKE THESE.

Even though I have a dime-sized kitchen with not nearly enough counter space, I adore these – and pretty much everything else in Anthropologie – and would certainly find room for them. Along with excuses to bake more!!

I would never use something that nice. That’s why my kitchen is filled with nothing but ugly bowls.
