Last night I stayed out ALL night! *GASP* don’t worry; it’s not as sordid as it sounds.
It was a planned birthday night out for one of my closest friends. Her husband booked us a luxury suite at River Cree Resort and Casino. Besides the odd cruise ship casino, I have never been to one. I am not much of gambler … I lost $60 in 10 minutes and was done.
I rarely put on makeup…
I figured I may as well get a picture.
Here are a couple of the girls. The birthday girl is the ‘red head’.
We had a great meal!
I had none of this! I don’t drink, but that’s a whole other post. I love the colours though.
I spent very little time in here. We were still talking at 5 a.m.
We had tons of laughs. Happy Birthday Karrie!
Ohhh … my forty year old bones can’t do this anymore … I am going to bed!

Staying out all night at 40, not bad. I’m 32 and the last time I stayed up until 2am I was wiped.

I’m 27 and can’t remember the last time I stayed out all night. Thats rather pathetic isn’t it? Oh-and I love the camera! D80 is it? I have D40x and am thinking of upgrading.
Oh my goodness… I stayed up until midnight on new Year’s and I was wiped all week! Good on you for having a girls night out :O)

It has been ages since I have stayed up past midnight. I am way to grumpy with the kids if I don’t get enough sleep! We are having a girls weekend for March break. Can’t wait for a kidless weekend of wine, good friends and skiing.
With makeup you look even more pretty than your last picture…and really, really not 40!
Okay..that has to be a Marriott.. We stayed at one for the Marine Ball & I loved the bedding!! There was even a booklet in the room so that you could order all or any of the bedding. I want one of those comfy down comforters – you know, the ones that say “ahh, hotel bed.” Anyways.. you are too funny with the camera right by your head – but look great (are you like me and feel too goofy smiling when taking a pic of yourself – I feel cheesy that way).. Okay, and again.. What is with the skin.. the friends too – That is it.. I am moving to Canada! (well, if I can get the nerve up to tell my hubby & the US Marines.) :)

That sounds fun. My husband, my sister and her husband and I all went to Niagara Falls, Canada last weekend and gambled. I only pay the penny slots (surprisingly fun) but my husband likes the card tables. He lost $93 in 10 minutes…and never played cards again!
What a fun break from the norm…I’m so glad you had fun…but, I agree with most of the other posts above I’m 29 and am dead on my feet if I go to bed after 10pm. :)

it’s good to get all made up and dressed up at least every 10 years or so……i guess i’ll be due in just a few short years…better find that cute black dress!

I am tired just thinking about staying up all night. I honestly can’t remember the last time I did that. Must be a long time ago.

wow… the only time i stay up is when i get sucked into a movie or to a show on HGTV. and makeup? that hasn’t touched my face in months!! LOL
Staying up until 5…I can do. Staying up with ADULTS until 5 – I wish! I hope you had F-U-N!
